Custom Shop Fittings for New Balance
A sports retail store has to present very different product ranges side by side: footwear, apparel, accessories, each with its own display requirements. For this New Balance store, Shop Display custom built and installed the fittings that showcase each range in its own dedicated zone.
One store, multiple display systems
The fit-out called for distinct treatments across the store:
- Footwear walls with angled display shelving for the shoe ranges
- Apparel fittings with hanging and folded-stock capacity
- Accessory and point-of-sale display units
- Illuminated feature branding [confirm: backlit New Balance logo wall]
Each system was manufactured in our Pinetown factory to the approved store specification, then installed as a coordinated whole. The challenge with multi-range stores is consistency: different fixture types still need to read as one store, with matching finishes, lighting integration and sight lines that guide customers through the space.

Sports retail fittings take punishment. Shoes are picked up and put down hundreds of times a day, and apparel fixtures are restocked constantly. We build for that reality, using materials and construction methods that keep the store looking sharp well past opening week.
