Retail Store Fittings for the New Converse Store
Global brands like Converse arrive with detailed store concepts, and the job of the shopfitter is to execute them precisely. Shop Display manufactured and installed all the fittings for a new Converse store, translating the brand’s specifications into a finished retail space.
Built to brand specification
Footwear retail relies on fittings that do two jobs at once: hold a large volume of stock and keep individual products visible. Working from the approved store layout, we manufactured:
- Wall-mounted footwear display systems
- Freestanding apparel and accessory fittings
- Glazed display elements and feature units [confirm scope]
- Counter and point-of-sale joinery
Every component was fabricated in our Pinetown factory, then installed on site by our own teams. Because international brands audit their stores against the concept manual, tolerances matter. Shelf heights, finishes and fixture spacing all have to match the specification, not approximate it.
Why manufacturers matter for branded fit-outs
A branded store fit-out lives or dies on execution. Converse supplied the concept; our job was to manufacture it accurately, deliver it on time and install it cleanly so the store could open trading at full standard from day one. That is the core of what Shop Display does: precise manufacturing and installation to a client’s specification.
